Is it just me, or is band weaving gaining popularity?
I love to weave bands on my inkle looms for many reasons. Inkle looms are affordable, portable and hold super tight tension - perfect for weaving bands.
Band weaving is incredibly versatile - just like many other looms, you do not have to be limited to plain weave.
In my Inkle Weaving online course, I show you just some of the possibilities, including Baltic Pick Up and Tubular weaving (think shoelaces!)
But that is only the beginning, you can also weave Turned Krokbragd bands, and to get even more adventurous, introduce tablets or cards for limitless patterning possibilities.

DO YOU LISTEN TO AUDIO BOOKS?
Some people will claim that listening to audio books is not really reading.
And while you are not physically holding a book and reading, I find listening to be an excellent way to get more "reading time" in.
I enjoy listening and learning while I'm working with my hands but want to occupy my mind or learn something new.
My eldest daughter is currently listening to Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens each day while she does her physical therapy exercises.
