QUICK TIP

Do you often struggle with warp threads that stick or grab so that you can't open a clean and clear shed?

This can be a problem because your shuttle will travel over or under incorrect warp threads resulting in skipped threads. This will show as floats or errors in your weaving - frustrating!

Thankfully it's a quick and easy fix, check out this video that shows you how ⤵️

FEATURED PRODUCT OF THE WEEK

This storage cart is one of the most affordable and certainly one of the most useful purchases I've made for my studio!

I frequently roll it up to my big loom (as seen here) and place my laptop (to track my threading or treadling) and some basic tools on the top tier. The yarns I need for the project go on the second shelf from the top, reference books go on the third tier and the bottom tier is a back up space for anything I need 😀

Other times it sits beside a different loom or beside my office/work table and I swap out the trolley contents according to what I'm working on.

You can find a 4 tier trolley on wheels like mine here.

Just as a heads up - the trays of this trolley are made of plastic, making it fairly lightweight. You can load it up but it may not be as sturdy as a metal tray trolley like this one. (But this trolley cart has 3 shelves and is smaller than my tall cart).

I ran a quick poll on Youtube during the week and I thought the results were interesting. We weavers sure do love weaving! 😀

Remember to follow me on Instagram! and tag me if you complete any of my classes or patterns - I will share them in my stories 😉

Until next time...

Happy Weaving!
