Hi Weavers!
If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably got more than one project on the go at any given time. And maybe—just maybe—some of those projects have been “in progress” for quite a while.
Is that a problem? Not necessarily.
In fact, I’ve found that having multiple creative projects on the go can actually be a good thing—for creativity, productivity, and even self-care.
But I’ve also learned that this approach doesn’t work for everyone, and even for those of us who love variety, there are a few important things to consider.
Let’s take a look at the pros and cons of juggling multiple projects at once, and how to make it work for you (rather than against you).
How Many Projects Is Too Many?

FEATURED PRODUCT OF THE WEEK
I bought my 10" Ashford Sampleit many years ago when my girls were little. They would often ask to weave on my 24" rigid heddle loom, but it was always occupied with a class or personal project.
They had fun weaving scarves and doll blankets but it wasn't something they really wanted to continue with. I was not sad at all about that, because it gave me an extra rigid heddle loom to weave on! 😀
At first I wasn't sure what I would be able to weave on a small loom, but it has been in almost constant use. It allows me to sample for ideas for larger projects but it has also challenged me to think about how my small loom students can best utilise their looms.
The Ashford Sampleit is available here:
USA
Australia
