Hi Weavers!
AI undoubtably has had a huge impact on the world already and it's only just getting started.
Whether a force for good or bad, it seems AI is here to stay.
Recently when I was searching Amazon for weaving books, (no need for me to admit how frequently this occurs ๐คญ) I noticed there were some new books I hadn't seen before.
It didn't take long for me to realise these books were AI generated.
I purchased one of these books - not to support those who choose not to write their own books, but hopefully to save all of you some money and disappointment.
In my latest Youtube video I'm sharing my thoughts on the AI book I purchased and pointing out how to spot an AI generated book:

MY CREATIVE WEEK
Sometimes I feel a bit disappointed when a week is ending and I don't feel I've had much creative time.
However, if I look back and analyse properly I usually find a bunch of creative things I accomplished. Here are a few from my week:
I joined @maielune Patreon recently because I love her style.
This is my first painting from her tutorials and Iโm thrilled with the results. (Spoiler alert - it took me HOURS!)
I've just finished dressing my David Floor Loom with over 800 ends to weave some fabric for a future (possibly distant future with the speed I'm currently working at!) coat.
I continued my Polwarth spinning project, only now I have 2 spinning wheels I can make use of the additional spinning space. Now this plyed (plied?๐ค) yarn is waiting to be washed.
I also went through my extensive photography collection and selected some that I have the goal of being able to paint eventually. I never realised I had so many beach photos...
